Wishbone from Tiffy

Tiffy sent this message and a bag full of wishbone charms with Josh to your Memorial Service to give to us. From Tiffany (sis-in-law):

Many days throughout Ilana’s illness, I would think and ponder about something, anything that I could do that might lift her spirits or give her a little strength to press on. The last gift I sent to her was a little silver wishbone charm for her bracelet. The little wishbone was my way of sending her my love – and to remind her of all the prayers being said on her behalf. It was something physical to hold onto when she needed to feel that strength.

I now wear a little wishbone charm of my own to remind me of her and all that she embodied. Her kindness, hard work, joy, laughter, and unbeatable spirit will never be forgotten.

I had hoped that the charm would give her comfort and strength. I now hope that it can bring some of that comfort and strength to you. My new wish is that when you see or wear your charm – you remember all the joy, energy, hope, and beauty that our girl brought into the lives of everyone she met. I am so thankful for the person that she was. I feel privileged to have known her. And I am most grateful that she was a part of my life.

I love you Lans!!
