Quilts

About a year ago we got together with your family and went through your clothes.  We all took a few things we remembered and loved about you and the rest we collected and had made into quilts.  It took quite a while to get them back but fortunately we were able to give them to your mama and the boys on Thanksgiving morning.  I don't think the boys quite understood with all the cousins around so they were wrapped up for Christmas morning.  They are beautiful.  The boys were each made two that were made out of your nursing scrubs and your parents quilt was made out of your old t-shirts.

This note was from your mama:

I just wanted to share a picture of 2 of  the quilts your family had made from Ilana's clothes.  As you know Andrew and Matthew will have a quilt now to use (pictured on the left) and they will also each have one for when they get older.  The quilt on the right was made for us out of Ilana's tee shirts.  The "In and Out Burger tee was bought by Brian and Rachel when Ilana was in the hospital and used to motivate her to get better so she could have her favorite treat, a meal from In and Out Burger!
I have never been given a gift more meaningful!   Your family is so amazing!  We love you all so much!

Your mama also posted this sweet picture of your juicy boy.
I am thinking of An-roo today... I love that's very special little boy who has been through so much in his short life. I am sure his mama in heaven is smiling on him today and grateful he is in good hands that love him.
