We got together with your parents for your birthday party- this is officially tradition. Marina sent this picture a few days prior to our gathering of your little boys writing notes to you. Matthew said to Marina, "Is that Andrew's mommy?" Marina told him yes and that it was his mommy too. Matthew said, "Wow, two mommies?. . .that's too much." Marina told him that you can never be too loved . . never have too much love. It breaks my heart a little that he doesn't remember you, but I am so thankful Marina is there to love these little boys for you. She has gone above and beyond what we would ask or dream of her doing to honor you and preserve you. We are grateful for her.
And were were grateful to gather as a group of those who love you to send up our love notes to you. A good cry and a good laugh are always a good way to honor you.
Your cute dad bought himself a new #1 Dad shirt since you weren't here to do it. We were laughing about how you two would use that line from Groundhog day to each other, "Hey Moron, your bus is leaving!" And about how their old dog would poop all over the house - I think one of you stepped in it, Ben was thrilled. :)
